Sherrie's Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

2 cups pretzels, crushed
3/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
3 tablespoons sugar
1 -16 oz. container "Cool Whip"
1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese
1 cup sugar
2 - 10 oz. packages frozen strawberries, thawed (or fresh)
2 cups boiling water
1 - 6 oz. package strawberry jell-o

Mix pretzels, melted margarine (or butter) and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Add to 9 x 13 inch pan, and bake in 400 degree oven for 8 minutes, and let cool.
Beat together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar, and then add "Cool Whip." Spread on top of pretzel layer, and refrigerate until set.
Mix strawberries with boiling water and jell-o, and pour over top of cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for a few hours until set.
