Just Do Something by Kevin DeYoung

A no nonsense, hard hitting and easy to read book about discovering God's will for your life... without the hyper-spiritualized soul searching that can burden so many Christians today.  God's will is for you to be holy like Jesus, by the power of the Spirit for the glory of God.  As for that job/girlfriend/relocations/house/car/etc?  Use your God given brains and just do something!

DeYoung uses some personal anecdotes, some humor and some references to other wise books on this topic.  Mostly though, he bases his arguments on the solid rock of Scripture - and that makes this book a real winner.  I'd happily have this one on my shelf - for a re-read and to loan out.

Reviewed for our church library.

Just a reminder that joining the book club includes the commitment to at least 1 book review each year.  If you have not done a book review in 2012, we would love to hear about something you've read this past year!
