Books for June-Dec 2014

REVISED DATES AND HOSTESSES - please update your calendar :-)

A reminder to hostesses (from "how we roll")

          The hostess is responsible for the meeting that takes place at her home - this includes discussion questions and menu ideas and sending out a reminder email one week before the meeting and everyone will RSVP to the hostess.  The hostess leads the discussion using the discussion questions to keep us moving along. Within a week after the meeting, the hostess will post "discussion highlights."  The plan is keep this simple: 1) a few things we liked about the book  2) anything we did not like about the book  3) a brief comment about the menu ex. favorite item; new food or recipe that we tried, etc.

* Karen will pick up the Aug Library kit and pass it through the grape vine as there are too many weeks between meetings.  Please contact her about books!

• August - Library Kit 

             Three Day Road by Joseph Boyden

             hostess: Erica S
             Karen will collect the library kit books again 
                 (please plan to return if you are not able to attend)
